You know, true believers, things are going to be rattled to their very roots in this one. Marvel calls Cold War "an epic that will make a lasting mark on the CAPTAIN AMERICA mythos".

Marvel has made available the solicitations for the two Captain America comics' December issues. See them listed below.

"The Invader" story arc gets underway in CAPTAIN AMERICA: SENTINEL OF LIBERTY #7 by writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing and illustrator Carmen Carnero.

Captain America learns about the Outer Circle's next move just as he is about to give up his search for them, and is also reminded that Steve Rogers is never alone.

Sharon Carter makes a comeback to assist Steve in gathering his supporters for a new mission, but some shadows are too deep for even the best spies in the world to anticipate.

Nick Fury, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Sharon Carter, and Peggy Carter all make cameo appearances!

Really, Cold War is a fantastic title for a Marvel crossover.

The event won't last as long as the actual Cold War, but given Marvel's propensity for decompression and their desire to cram in thousands of unnecessary tie-ins, it might feel that way.

Anyway, it seems like Steve's situation is improving this December. On the cover of Captain America: Symbol of Truth, it appears as though Falcon is evolving into a real falcon.
